About the Portland Metro Pipe Band
Portland Metro Pipe Band was formed in 2006 as a competitive pipe band for serious musicians. Led by Pipe Major Mark Tomasetti and Drum Sergeant Andrew Finley, the Portland Metro Pipe Band is made up of Grade I players from throughout the Pacific Northwest. Band members have played with Maple Ridge Pipe Band, which placed second at the North American Pipe Band Championships in Grade II in 2005, Abbotsford Police Pipe Band, Willamette Valley Pipe Band, Prince Charles Pipe Band and Sir James McDonald Pipe Band.
The IRS has granted tax exempt status to Portland Metro Pipe Band under code 501(c)(3). This code encurages individual and corporate donations. For specific information regarding donations, please contact the band manager.
